""Radical" trans ideology, (hereafter RTI) which is what this piece is intended to critique, is the argument that trans women are literally women, and trans men literally men."

So we already start off with nonsense. No trans people are saying that trans women are cis women, that would be inaccurate on many levels. Trans women are simply saying that they are women, and should be treated and seen as a valid woman.

Despite what many TERFs may have you believe, trans people are not trying to claim that cis women discussing periods or childbirth is wrong. Any issue brought up with this has to do with exclusionary language, as many trans men also give birth or have periods. As well as some of the 140 MILLION people who have intersex conditions.

So we start off with a definition that isn't even factual.

"Without a clear definition of X gender, one cannot claim that particular mental states are indicative that a person is of that gender. At best, we might say that having no definition of specific genders means nobody can determine what anyone, including themselves is.

This apparent chaos again leads to a choice:

8. Gender is deemed a meaningless construct, and sex is given primacy.

Or

9. Self identity is given primacy, and sex is considered an arbitrary construct."

You are so f*cking close, after over a page of providing evidence that gender is a social construct and sex doesn't matter, you then TURN AWAY from the obvious answer and claim that biological sex is something society should care about.

It saddens me to see you spend so long mentioning how both sex and gender are arbitrary, and then concluding that they are important...

"Assumption 9 is the most radical position still somewhat relevant, and although it is not necessarily common to see people arguing that sex is purely a construct, it is perhaps even less so to see it publicly denounced as a view by proponents of RTI."

People say this because it is a biological fact that biollogical sex is a bimodal spectrum in which 140,000,000 human beings do not fit under the main categories of one or the other. Ignoring biologists because you don't like the data that disagrees with you is cognitive dissonance.

"“Sex” is simply the term used to describe certain properties related to a species’ reproductive roles. The properties that make us male or female can be collectively described as “sexual characteristics”,"

Untrue. According to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research:

"Sex refers to a set of biological attributes in humans and animals. It is primarily associated with physical and physiological features including chromosomes, gene expression, hormone levels and function, and reproductive/sexual anatomy. Sex is usually categorized as female or male but there is variation in the biological attributes that comprise sex and how those attributes are expressed."

Ultimately, according to biology, the main difference between cis men and cis women are gametes, or chromosomes. And I don't know what yours are, and neither do you. If you found out you had XX chromosomes, would you magically call yourself a woman?

Doubt it.

So TL:DR: You don't understand biology or psychology, and you also don't comprehend trans issues and rarely ever, if ever, actually talked to a trans person, but you chose on your own volition to act like an expert anyways.
