That is where you would be wrong. That party switch is pretty common knowledge, and nobody was really contesting it until the conservatives (Modern Republicans) decided that they can’t take responsibility for their actions.

That said, the Liberals (Modern Democrats)have done some historically bigoted things too, but to act as if a party did not switch despite maps showing the deep south switched, despite evidence showing that black people fled the “Republican” party, to go to the “racist” Democratic party.

Unless you are trying to say that the Deep South used to be full of people who cared about the civil rights of non-white people, and just happened to change into a bunch of bigots in the past 50 years. I mean, the deep south, which enslaved black people, and did the trail of tears, still exists. They just call themselves Republicans nowadays. And no, it’s not because Democrats all moved north.

It is also a well known historical fact that the parties that the parties in the 1960’s went from fighting based on economics to on the idea of liberalism and conservatism. This can be seen if you research “The New Deal.”

This is all common knowledge, and if not, can easily be looked up. People are not making this up just to crap on Republicans.

Also, to claim that 1990’s Democrats are racist, so as a result, you joined the Republican party, which is endorsed by the KKK and pretty much all white nationalists/white supremacists, just makes you sound dumb.
